Description
English: Peat, Totridge. The peat is about 5 foot deep here clearly showing the underlying clay and sand. The scar forms one side of a pleasant wide grassy strip up Brown Nab which is a joy to walk upon compared with the heather.I consider myself a leading authority on this square as I spent 8 hours searching for a digital camera in it one wet June weekend. Having found the camera the next day I am unlikely to return to this square for some time!
