Description
English: Pegwell Bay Hoverport, Ramsgate. Hoverlloyd hovercraft 'The Prince of Wales' prior to boarding of vehicles and passengers for the flight to Calais. Captains were obliged to hold an airline pilot's licence as well as a sea captain's. Flights from Ramsgate ceased in the late 1980's.
