Description

Construído em inícios do século XVI, no reinado de D. Manuel I (r. 1495-1521), em 1698, foi removido da frente do antigo Paço Real de D. Dinis (actual Pousada da Rainha Santa Isabel) para o terreiro de Santo André, defronte aos Paços do Concelho da época. Entre 1867 e 1871 foi arriado deste local e disperso em local desconhecido, tendo sido reconstruído, em 1916, por Saavedra Machado e Luís Chaves e colocado no local onde hoje se encontra.
