O pelourinho, símbolo medieval de Poder Local, onde os criminosos eram pendurados e expostos publicamente, foi classificado de imóvel de interesse público pelo Decreto-Lei nº 23122, de 11 de Outubro de 1933. Constituído por uma plataforma granítica com três degraus, uma base octogonal, uma coluna com fuste de superfície curva, cilíndrica e sem ornamentos, com uma cintura de ferro a meio, e o remate com quatro argolas ao alto em forma de cruz.
