Description
English: Pemphis acidula is one of the four rare plants in Taiwan. It grows very slowly. Daphne chrysanthemum grows on coral reefs and can tolerate less fresh water, soil and stronger sea breeze than plants on beaches and coastal forests. The Pemphis acidula is the first line of guardian on the coastal reefs. It is a plant listed for conservation in Kenting National Park.
