Summary edit

Description
English: Boundary stone on Penhale Sands with an Ordnance Survey benchmark. The stone may mark the boundary between mining setts, although I cannot find a name of a mine in the literature with the initials WD. There is also a figure four (turned 90° to the right) on the stone. The fence is the Penhale Army Camp boundary.
Note: After looking at other photographs of benchmarks, I have a feeling that this is not an Ordnance Survey benchmark. Would be interested to know what the use of the stone was.
