| Description |
Slovenčina: Ján Rašo, narodený 22.6.1913, Budmerice. Od roku 1933 bol prijatý do dobrovoľnej vojenskej služby kde pôsobil do 1.2.1937, kedy vstúpil do zboru pohraničnej finančnej stráže. Počas Slovenského národného povstania spoluorganizoval vo Vysokých Tatrách vytvorenie odbojovej skupiny s príslušníkov žandárstva a pohraničnej finančnej stráže. 20.9.1944 sa táto skupina k partizánskemu oddielu Vysoké Tatry. Padol 26.9.1944 v boji s nemeckými vojakmi na Troch Studničkách. Pochovaný je na Štrbskom Plese spolu so Štefanom Morávkom. V roku 1946 bol povýšený do hodnosti kapitána a inšpektora 1. triedy finančnej stráže a vyznamenaný Radom SNP 1. triedy, in memoriam. Jeho meno až niesla chata pri Troch Studničkách vo Vysokých Tatrách, ktorá v roku 1998 vyhorela. |
