Português: O gato-do-mato é um felino originário da América Central e América do Sul. É também conhecido pelo nomes de gato-do-mato-pequeno, em oposição ao gato-do-mato-grande, de outra espécie, maior e encontrado apenas no Cone Sul.
English: The wild cat is a feline that originates in Central and South America. It is also known by the names of small cat-of-mato, as opposed to the big wild cat, of another species, bigger and found only in the Southern Cone.
