Description
Deutsch: Starnberg, OT Percha, Kirche St. Valentin. Die kleine katholische Filialkirche kann auf die längste nachweisbare Geschichte unter den Sakralbauten im heutigen Starnberger Stadtgebiet zurückblicken. Eine erste Erwähnung geht auf das Jahr 785 zurück, eine Kirchenweihe anläßlich eines Neubaus ist für 1172 bezeugt. Um 1500 erfolgte ein Ausbau, und seit jener Zeit ist die Kirche, die in ihrem Innern auch einige wertvolle Kunstwerke aus der Spätgotik aufweist, in ihrem baulichen Bestand bis heute nahezu unverändert geblieben.[1]
