Description

Wandering zigzag fashion through the caves and passages of the oddly-named 'Zone X' cave outcrop above Cusco.

The whole area above Cusco is riddled with caves and slot-canyon-like passages, some of the caves apparently going for miles underground. Many entrances have been modified, with stone steps and door-like entrances The story is that originally caves went all the way down into the temples of Cusco, but were closed off by the Spanish.
