SOUTH CHINA SEA (Nov. 17, 2016) Petty Officer 3rd Class Robert McGuire, assigned to the forward-deployed Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS McCampbell (DDG 85), stands by during flight quarters with an MH-60R Seahawk helicopter, assigned to the “warlords” of Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 51, during Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) 2016. CARAT is a series of annual maritime exercises between the U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps and the armed forces of nine partner nations to include Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Timor-Leste.
