English: Peyton Short placed this advertisement in the Kentucky Gazette in 1792, the year he platted a subdivision in Lexington, Kentucky, near what is now Gratz Park. Short built a small house near the corner of Second and Upper Streets in 1795, now known as the Abraham Barton House, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. |
