Description
Deutsch: Durch den Quarzabbau in früheren Jahren ist am Großen Pfahl bei Viechtach eine große bis zu 50 m tiefe Grube entstanden. Die Natur hat sich den Lebensraum zurückerobert. Es haben sich viele Pflanzen und Tiere angesiedelt. In der Senke der Abbaugrube hat sich ein Wasserbereich gebildet, der die bedrohte Gelbbauchunke beheimatet. Das Naturschutzgebiet ist durch Wanderwege gut erschlossen. Es gibt zahlreiche Infotafeln. Das Bild zeigt den Blick in die Abbau-Grube.
