O'Donnell and Arana, are barefoot and dressed as homeless people. They all have “wives”, and some of these poor women have had children from them. O'Donnell has his own separate harem: a house like Velarde's within the complex. It is known, on the other hand, that many of these women were mistreated

by their "owners", who committed all kinds of abuses with them.'
