Summary

edit
Description
English: Eastern water dragon in Whian Whian State Conservation Area, New South Wales, Australia. This dragon had got itself caught in a large rock hole, and I was able to get this great close up picture of it before I assisted it to escape the hole. This is the most colourful Eastern Water Dragon I have yet seen. It would appear to be a large male rainforest variant of Physignathus lesueurii lesueurii.
