| Description |
English: Maria is a lovely and friendly grandma, who lives in Pan Pae, in the Kayan State. She lives with her son and his family, in a small wooden house next to the church. Maria was baptised in the Catholic faith, because of the presence of Italian missions in the area. In Kayah State, for many years missionaries have spread the catholic faith and provided education to the local people. As a result, many Kayan families converted to the Roman Catholic faith, without losing their traditions.
