English: Pictorial Genealogy Of The Descendants Of Jahangir. ca. 1623-27, Aga Khan Museum, Ceneva. As per Sheila R. Canby, Princes, Poets & Paladins: Islamic and Indian Paintings from the Collection of Prince and Princess Sadruddin Aga Khan (1988), p. 145: The figures depicted in the upper band are Jahangir in the centre connected by lines to four of his sons, from right to left Khusrau, Jahandar, Shahriyar and Sultan Parviz. The children at the right are the four sons of Khusrau: Garshasp, Dawar Bakhsh, Rastakar and Boland Akhtar. At the left the three sons of Sultan Parviz are Durandish, Azaram and Kishwar Kosha. The lower panel consists of Miran Shah in the centre with his sons from right to left: Abu Bakr, Ayyal, Suyurghatmish, 'Umar, Sayyidi Ahmad and Sultan Khalil. |
