Description
Español: Piedra cineraria con dos bustos femeninos contrapuestos. En las necrópolis etruscas, la función de sémata (señal) se atribuía a las piedras y estelas, colocadas sobre las tumbas o a los lados de los pasillos de entrada. Su tipología era muy variada, y cambiaba según el sexo, la edad y la posición soical que ocupaba el fallecido. Esta pieza está rematada por dos bustos femeninos opuestos que recuerdan el estilo de las estatuas de llanto, típicas de la escultura chiusina. Material: Toba. Procedencia: Orvieto. Primera mitad del siglo VI a. C. Museo Arqueológico Nacional de Florencia.
