Erratic rock marking the cantonal border between Geneva & Vaud in Switzerland

Summary

edit
Description
English: The boulder of Pény between Versoix and Mies, marking the boundary between the cantons of Geneva and Vaud in Switzerland as stone number 5 with a red cross (top left). Historians assume from stone carvings that the glacial erratic served as a place to celebrate cult rituals in prehistoric times. The surrounding oak trees are a natural habitat for the great capricorn beetle, an extremely endangered insect.
