English: Industry in Israel עברית: עובדים ועובדות ליד מבנה , Original Image Name:בביח"ר לסיגרים דה - האז, Notes:בית החרושת לסיגרים הוקם בכפר אתא בשנת 1937 לאחר נסיונןת קודמים לתפעולו בחיפה ובעכו. הקימה אותו משפחת דה - האז. המנהל היה קורט בלום איש המקצוע היחיד בנושא.
חומר הגלם יובא מחו"ל ועל כן מחיר התוצר היה גבוה לעומת מחיר התוצר העשוי מחומרי גלם מקומיים. למפעל היתה עדנה בימי מלחמת העולם השניה. ב-1964 הוחל להביא לארץ סיגרים תוצרת חוץ עד אשר לא היתה ברירה אלא לאחד את דה- האז עם מפעל "דובק" בשנת 1967. בתמונה - עומדים קורט בלום ומרים גליד. יושב - דה -האז., Location:ביח"ר דה - האז בקרית אתא. |
