Original Image Name: Piciwiki_israel_69323_IMG_20200620_084536-01.jpeg Notes: פלורנטין היא שכונה בדרום תל אביב שעד שנת 1948 הייתה חלק מיפו. היא נקראת על שמו של שלמה פלורנטין. השכונה ממוקמת בין הרחובות העלייה במזרח אליפלט במערב דרך יפו מצפון ודרך שלמה מדרום. השכונה הוקמה בשנת 1927 על-פני פרדס ידי דוד אברבנאל והקבלן שלמה סלומון פלורנטין שעלה לישראל מסלוניקי שביוון. השכונה תוכננה כשכונה המשלבת עסקי מלאכה תעשייה זעירה ומסחר לצד בניינים בני 3 עד 4 קומות שרחובות צרים ביניהם. בראשיתה אוכלסה פלורנטין בעולים מיוון פולין צפון אפריקה בולגריה טורקיה ובוכרה. ויקיפדיה
