Description
English: Pine cone in the woods at Woodhall Spa. A coal mine was sunk in Woodhall Spa and pine trees were grown to produce pit props. The trees were planted by John Parkinson in 1811. The woodland is now owned by the Woodland Trust, which was founded in London in 1972 and now based in Grantham.
