Summary edit

Description This was built by Flruz Shah Tughluq and forms part either of his hunting palace. But it is believed to have been used for astronomical observations. Although, it appears to have been used as a masjid. There is a saying, an islamic saint who used this room as hisworshipping place but suddenly disappeared (in Hindi disappeared mean Ghaib), from which the monument has derived its present name meaning the 'Vanished saint’ or Pir Ghaib.
