English: Pirna: View on a high-water mark. The mark evoked on the Elbe-flood 1655.
Deutsch: Pirna: Hochwassermarke des Elbehochwassers vom Februar 1655. Die Marke befindet sich am sogenannten Elbschlösschen (Am Elbufer 1). Die Inschrift lautet: „Nach gnädiger Errettung aus grausamer Wassersnoth wurde der Nachkommen willen dieses Denkmals hierher gesetzt im Jahre 1655 da die Elbe und überaus große Wassersfluth unerhörter Weise bis hierauf ging. Christoph Pöckel Geleitsmann den 7. Februar 1655."
