Description
Català: Placa al Sagrat Cor d'Artesa de Segre, cim de Lo Castellot. El 26 de juny del 1960, Mn. Francesc Sabaté i Mir

llençà la idea de construir, dalt del Castellot, un monument al Sagrat Cor. El projecte s’encomanà a l’arquitecte Isidre Puig i Boada que, després de vàries propostes de com habilitar l’altar i integrar el projecte a les restes del castell, enllestí els plànols sobre els quals el constructor Josep Fons i Armengol bastí el monument erigit amb l’ajut de 217.025 ptes. de donatius de la població. El 19 de març del 1964 el bisbe d’Urgell inaugurava la imatge del Sagrat Cor i la gran creu situada al seu darrere. Una placa de marbre de 100x130 cm commemora aquest acte amb la següent inscripció:

El Excmo. y Rvdmo. Dr. D. RAMON IGLESIAS Y NAVARRI obispo de Urgel el dia 19 de marzo de 1964 bendijo este MONUMENTO que Artesa de Segre levantó como recuerdo de la SANTA MISIÓN predicada por los Rdos. PP claretianos ELIAS VALCANERA ROSENDO RAFEL Y JOSÉ Mª VILARRUBIAS del 12 al 23 de febrero del mismo año Arquitecto: Isidro Puig Boada
