Description
Français : Plan d'exploitation du puits Saint-Max de Carling (Moselle). Le puits Saint-Max sera appelé aussi plus tard « puits 8 ». Le 23 janvier 1854 un sondage est effectué dans la vallée du Lauterbach à Carling sous la direction de l'ingénieur des mines André-Eugène Jacquot (1817-1903) qui espère y trouver du charbon. Le 21 juillet 1854 on atteint une couche de charbon à 184 m de profondeur. Le 17 mars 1855, la société décide le fonçage du puits qui sera appelé puits Maximilien ou puits Saint-Max en l'honneur de Maximilien Pougnet propriétaire de la Compagnie houillère de la Moselle Maximilien Pougnet et Cie.
