Summary edit

Description
English: Simplified blueprints for the planned replacement double-track Scherzer rolling lift bridge in Cleveland, Ohio, in the United States.

The rolling lift bridge was completed on October 15, 1901. It was built by the Scherzer Rolling Bridge Co. on behalf of the Cleveland, Cincinnati, Chicago and St. Louis Railway. This bridge carried the railroad's main line over the Cuyahoga River, connecting the west bank (at the Scranton Flats) with the east bank.

This bridge was torn down in 1955, replaced by a lift bridge which opened on September 28, 1955. Although abandoned and locked in the upright position, this lift bridge still exists adjacent to the Carter Road Lift Bridge.
