Vistas de la hacienda de Mulaló, que perteneció al Dr. José María Cuero Cayzedo, sobrino del obispo de Quito, José Cuero Caycedo, y hermano del obispo de Popayán, Fray Fernando Cuero Cayzedo.

La casa de esta hacienda fue derribada por los temblores de tierra de Mayo de 1885 y los siguientes.

El Dr. José María Cuero Cayzedo, hombre generoso, quien reconstruyó el acueducto colonial de Cali y quien suministró a Fray José Ignacio Ortiz la cal para la construcción del puente de Cali, se hizo cargo del niño de meses que más tarde fue el Dr. Joaquín de Caicedo Caicedo y de su hermana póstuma, Gabriela Caicedo Caicedo. Padres de estos niños fueron el coronel Nicolás de Caycedo Cuero, y doña Rafaela Cayzedo Camacho. Abuelos: los mártires Joaquín de Cayzedo Cuero y Francisco A. Cayzedo de la Llera. (1813-1816)
