THIS TABLET WAS ERECTED BY THE MEMBERS OF ST COLUMBAS CHURCH TO THE MEMORY OF THOSE OF HIS MAJESTY'S FORCES FROM THIS PARISH WHOSE NAMES ARE HEREON INSCRIBED, THEY CAVE THEIR LIVES IN DEFENCE OF THEIR COUNTRY AND FOR THE CAUSE OF CIVILIZATION AND LIBERTY
