Description
English: Plaster of Paris death mask of Lev Tolstoy collected at Rabindra Bhavana Museum, Santiniketan, Birbhum district, West Bengal. The death mask was gifted to Rabindranath Tagore on 17 September 1930 during his visit to Russia by a group of eminent Russian cultural figures on the occasion of the inauguration of his exhibition of paintings at the Museum of North Western Art in Moscow.
