| Description |
Nederlands: Plattegrond van Maastricht met Franstalige legenda en stadswapen. In 1850 kwamen zowel het Kanaal Luik-Maastricht als de papierfabriek aan het Bassin gereed, die beide op de plattegrond zijn ingetekend. Het eerste treinstation van Maastricht werd in 1853 in gebruik genomen, maar ontbreekt op de plattegrond, wellicht omdat dit buiten de stadsomwalling was gelegen. Eveneens in 1853 vestigden de jezuïeten zich opnieuw in Maastricht. Hun voorlopige klooster aan de Tongersestraat (Huis Villain XIIII) staat wel in geel (= religieus bouwwerk) aangegeven, maar het bijbehorende nummer (10) is alleen in de legenda aangegeven. In 1857-1858 werd de huidige Sint-Martinuskerk gebouwd; op de plattegrond is de oude kerk nog te zien. De poorten en stadswallen werden vanaf 1867 grotendeels gesloopt.
