Summary edit

Description
English: A stacked mound meant to shed rain made of cut pine needles and built over secondary entrances or ventilation holes connected to the main nest of the Red Harvester Ant, Pogonomyrmex barbatus. The ants will construct these just before rains, indicating their sensitivity to changes in humidity. The air hole is noticeable in this example.
