| Description |
English: Polish Army building, Tentsmuir. Here and there amongst the trees there are still signs of the Polish Army camp in Tentsmuir Forest. The Free Polish Army had a major presence in this area during the second world war and Tentsmuir's long and wide beaches were guarded against an invasion threat from Norway by the Poles. I don't know for sure what use this substantial building had and I couldn't get closer due to a major drain and brambles but I would guess it was an ablutions block. Northern aspect. |
