The Memorial to the Children Victims of the War, Lidice is a bronze sculpture by Marie Uchytilova in Lidice, Czech Republic.

Čeština: Pomník dětským obětem války v Lidicích od Marie Uchytilové. Sousoší tvoří 82 dva soch lidických dětí, které měli být údajně zavražděny ve vyhlazovacím táboře Chelmno v Polsku. Dílo vznikalo postupně ze sádry 20 let (1969-1989). Dílo však bylo instalováno až po autorčině smrti mezi léty 1995-2000. Bronz.
English: Monument to the Children's Victims of War by Marie Uchytilová, Lidice Memorial, Czech Republic. 82 statues presented represent 82 children of Lidice village, who were probably killed in the Extermination camp of Chelmno, Poland during the World War II. Statues where carved from gypsum for about 20 years (1969-1989). After the death of Maria Uchytilová it took other years to to molten it to bronze and it was installed then in Lidice Memomorial in the years 1995-2000. |
