Description
Polski: Pomnik Braterstwa Broni w Magnuszewie powstał w 1977 roku. Znajduje się na rynku nieopodal kościoła parafialnego. Jest autorstwa rzeźbiarza A. Ślęzaka. Poświęcony jest żołnierzom I Armii Wojska Polskiego i Armii Radzieckiej, którzy w sierpniu i we wrześniu 1944 roku brali udział w krwawych i zaciętych walkach o zdobycie przyczółka warecko-magnuszewskiego. Z tego miejsca 14 stycznia 1945 roku wojska I Frontu Białoruskiego rozpoczęły działania ofensywne wyzwalając centralne i zachodnie ziemie Polski. Nieco dalej na skwerku stoi armato-haubica biorąca niegdyś udział w walkach o przyczółek. Przed budową obecnego pomnika nieopodal znajdowało się małe mauzoleum i pomnik Armii Radzieckiej.
