Description
Français : Pont ferroviaire du bois Monzil, sur la limite entre les communes de fr:Saint-Priest-en-Jarez et fr:Villars (Loire) en France, il enjambe le ruisseau le Riotord. Il est le plus vieux pont ferrioviaire encore existant d'Europe continentale, puisqu'il date de 1827. Il faisait partie de la fr:Ligne de Saint-Étienne à Andrézieux. L'ingénieur constructeur de ce pont était fr:Louis-Antoine Beaunier.
English: Railway bridge of the Monzil wood, on the border between the communes of en:Saint-Priest-en-Jarez and en:Villars, Loire in France, it spans the stream the Riotord. It is the oldest ferry bridge still existing in continental Europe, since it dates from 1827. It was part of the en:Saint-Étienne–Andrézieux railway. The engineer who built this bridge was en:Louis-Antoine Beaunier.
