Português: A ponte medieval de D. Goimil é uma estrutura que antigamente pertencia à antiga via romana que ligava os rios Douro e Ave, a mesma que, durante o reinado D. Afonso III (1210-1279), em meados do século XIII conhecida como via veteris (Estrada Velha). Com efeito, esta estrada constituíra a mais importante ligação existente entre as localidades do Porto e de Vila do Conde.
English: The D.Goimil bridge is a structure once belonged to the old Roman road which conected the Douro river and Ave river. During the Afonso The Third reign(1210-1279) was known as the Via Veteris (the old road). With that, the road was the most important connection between the places of Porto and Vila do Conde. |
