Picture taken from Brixton Overground station. The 1:25000 Get-a-Map for TQ3175 Brixton is incorrect as the Overground Station is correctly positioned E/W but is shown on the left fork when it is actually on the right fork. So it is showing as too far north. Google Maps is also incorrect -- there is a 1 mile section of railway between Brixton and Herne Hill that is simply missing. It's clearly shown on the satellite picture but not on the map. Lots of people would certainly notice if that bit of track was missing in real life -- it is the main line from Victoria to the Kent Coast. |
