...Le porche de l'église de Créteil était, il y a peu de temps, parfaitement conservé; son aspect était monumental. Il était ouvert par une arcade sur sa face antérieure et voûté en berceau. Ce n'est qu'un abri devant l'entrée de l'église; long, étroit, fermé latéralement, il tient lieu d'un de ces tambours que l'on érige de notre temps derrière les portes.
