Description
日本語: 基隆港。基隆港は內地の長崎港に似た灣港である。灣港の常として背後の山脚そ港灣その間に平地が少く市街の建設に顔る不自由を感ずる。基隆市も今日七萬の人口を以て稍行詰りの傾きがあり。新設の中學校さへ其敷地に窮した揚句一山越えた南方八堵に持つて行かれた有樣である。港口は北に向ひ，港內は東西約六〇〇米南北約一〇〇〇米，近代の港灣としては稍狹隘に過ぎる。寫真は東岸の哨船頭方面より對岸の岸壁を眺めたもので岸壁は內臺定期航路船，哨船頭は近海航路船の埠頭である。岸壁の右方に見える枝港は牛稠港で，主として石炭の荷役に使はれてゐる。（三尾良次郎，臺北高等學校教諭兼教授）
