English: Porth Hellick in 1972 This is a view over Porth Hellick from the higher ground to the east. Porth Hellick is an enclosed bay. Here the tide is fairly will up. At low tide there is an expanse of rocks and seaweed. The fine sandy beach to the right is a nesting site for Ringed Plovers. Fortunately, most of these will have hatched their eggs before the main tourist invasion in high summer. |
