Description
Français : Le soubassement en béton supportant le portique plonge de 70 mètres dans la retenue jusqu'à la vanne batardeau protégeant la vanne placée à la hauteur du barrage et commandant la vidange de fond rive droite. Cette vanne batardeau ne peut se manœuvrer que si les pressions amont et aval sont équilibrées.
English: Bottom emptying gantry. The concrete base supporting the gantry is 70 meters deep into the reservoir and reaches the cofferdam gate that protects the valve at the dam and that controls the right bank bottom draining facility. This cofferdam valve can only be operated if the upstream and downstream pressures are balanced.
