Notes Catalogue Note: "The composition is based on a full-length portrait of Anne of Austria by Pourbus and assistants in the Musée National des Château de Versailles et de Trianon (see Literature, B. Ducos, cat. no. P.B.20). The elaborate gown derives from Pourbus's depictions of Marie de Medici, such as the full-length portrait in the Musée du Louvre."
