Description
English: Portrait of Mikhail Pavlovich Lanskoy
Русский: портрет Михаила Павловича Ланского. Портрет сравнительно недавно атрибутирован А. Кибовским (см. Материалы по русской иконографии. Выпуск III, 2014, с. 42).

Ранее портрет был ошибочно атрибутирован как портрет Алексея Илларионовича Философова. На портрете изображен генерал-майор, награждённый орденом Св. Анны 1-й степени, знаком отличия за военное достоинство 2-й степени и рыцарским крестом ордена Меча. Философов среди прочих наград был награждён знаком отличия за военное достоинство 3-й степени и командорским крестом ордена Меча. Кроме того он был сначала произведён в генерал-адъютанты (1 июля 1842) и только в 1843 году награждён орденом Святой Анны 1-й степени. На портрете генерал-адъютантские аксельбанты не изображены.
