English: Studio of Joseph Wright of Derby, A.R.A. (Derby 1734–1797)
Portrait of Miss Maria Boothby (1758–1805), daughter of Sir Brooke Boothby, 5th Bt. (1710–1789) oil on canvas 76.7 x 64 cm.; 30¼ x 25¼ in. This painting is thought to be an early copy after a lost original by Joseph Wright of Derby. It is possible to venture that it may have been painted by one of Wright's studio assistants, such as James Rawlinson (c. 1769–1848).
