Presumed portrait of:

- Saleroom notice: Please note that this is a Portrait of Prince Franz Xavier of Saxony (1730-1806) after a painting by Pietro Antonio Rotari in the Gemäldegalerie Alte Meister (Dresden), Dresden (Inv. no. S.448) and not as stated in the printed catalogue.

Former property of a german princely family
V 47 i tam bibliografia). Franciszek Ksawery, bowiem, nie miał rosyjskiego orderu św. Andrzeja, zaś Karol Krystian otrzymał go od cesarzowej Elżbiety I w 1758r. В. 2. 11). , natomiast odpisuje go Rotariemu dlatego że malarz przebywał wtedy w Petersburgu (a zamek nazywa fortyfikacjami) - [1]
