Charles M. DuVall was born November 19, 1852 in Missouri. In 1853 his family moved to Portland, Oregon where he received his education. He became interested in photography when he was twenty years old and opened a photography studio in Goldendale, Washington. He was a well known Whitman County photographer and was elected Justice of the Peace in 1890. Charles DuVall died September 18, 1913.
