English: Pottery Through the Ages designed and modelled by Gilbert Bayes, 1939, a rectangular frieze of stoneware tiles with coloured glazes, measuring 1.6m by 13.6m, formerly on the facade of Doulton House, London, the former headquarters of the Doulton company who subsequently donated it to the Victoria and Albert Museum. Museum number C.61-1988.
