Il y a plus de quinze ans, l'on découvre à Colmar un véritable trésor inconnu : une merveilleuse collection de près de deux mille jouets : poupées, trains, automates, ours, voitures… du 19ème siècle à nos jours. Ces objets appartiennent à Georges Trincot, peintre internationalement connu. Afin de développer son offre touristique, la Ville de Colmar achète cette collection et décide de créer un musée : Le Musée Animé du Jouet et Petits Trains. Celui-ci est installé sur trois niveaux dans un ancien cinéma de quartier : le cinéma Vauban (ancienne Brasserie). |
