| Description | Summary: To establish a new outlet for public art, University City District will showcase rotating installations at one of Philadelphia’s newest public spaces, The Porch at 30th Street Station. By creating new, site-specific works of art for The Porch, which is within one of the city’s major centers of transportation and employment, art will elevate and enliven the mundane experience of commuting. The district will partner with Greenhouse Media, a Philadelphia-based group that has facilitated public art all over the country, including the High Line in New York City and the MOMA in San Francisco. |
